I studied nearly 10 years ago in Torino at the SAA. Scuola di Aziendale Aministrazione (or something along those lines). The classes were in English, with Italian, American, Finnish, English and others from around the world. Great experience that allowed me to learn the language, culture and also my economics studies. The program that I engaged to attend was the University of Reno's: University Studies Abroad Consortium. Made many friends that I still keep in touch with today....and my Italian, while horrendous did more than get me by while visiting last December. Another option is Torino. I went with Indiana Univeristiy's Bologna Consortial Studies Program (BCSP). It was a great program; I highly recommend it. The member institutions—Indiana University, the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Minnesota, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Seven other institutions—Columbia University, Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Cornell University, Mt. Holyoke College, Northwestern University and Notre Dame University—are associate members of BCSP, whose students receive preferential access among non-consortium applicants.
