From the minute I arrived to the time I left (little over three weeks) I had many mixed feelings during my trip to India. My brother was living in India at the time and the nature of our (my mother and I) trip was to follow in the footsteps where Buddha had gone thousands of years ago in Northern India. India with so many UNESCO sites we were able to visit a few of them.

Absolutely beautiful with a mysterious history for sure! However, for some strange reason I did not have the awestruck feeling I had HOPED or thought I would feel when I saw Taj for the first time.. NOT sure why...

:) I have cute pictures of my mom and dad at the Taj Mahal from when they were in their twenties and I was nonexistent. Just a train ride away from Agra (where the Taj is) is the city of Delhi, which has many beautiful and important monuments.
