Great interview, Sarah!

I love this description;

"It’s a site for the travel anthropologist, who wants to not only visit a place but to see the world from the perspective of people living there."

I think that's a spot-on description of what Pocketcultures is and the potential it has for imparting hard to reach knowledge about different parts of the world.

Thanks for the great interview Sarah and Liz (who I was pleased to meet in person at TEDxBosphorus last November!)...and I enjoy both of you on Twitter.

As a writer/producer in a cross-cultural marriage I especially appreciate Liz's idea that there is a wealth of opportunity in the travel and cultural observations of cross-cultural couples. So true that when you're open to the world you often do end up in a relationship that seals that cultural embrace. Living with the constant negotiation and depth of compassion for other ways of doing and being and thinking definitely affects our travel writing.

Excellent Interview..enjoyed reading it very much. Respect for different cultures, and ways of life is the most important learning that one gains from traveling. PocketCultures truly brings this out in its posts!! kudos once again for the interview.
