You forgot Boba or Pearl Tea… me and my friends can’t go a week with out running to Boba and then Bubbies for the sugar rush of the century. I know its Japanese but you don’t see this stuff on the mainland and its every where.

They say it’s from the earlier days–Spam is cheap, and so are canned Vienna sausages (another beloved food in Hawaii). Combining it with rice is a Japanese influence.
