Kate Macmillan recently moved to Sydney, Australia from New York City, where she traveled two weeks per month to photograph and review hotels for Oyster.com (being a professional vacationer is a lot harder than it looks). With a background in sports writing (she's worked for Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine, and others), she enjoys sampling Aussie sports obsessions like cricket, rugby, and surf lifesaving. She's looking forward to exploring the Asia/Pacific region, but in the meantime blogs (sarcastically) about the expat experience at WTF Mate.
